Access Control is the GenEmails application-level permission matrix. It does not grant Genesys permissions. It decides which features are visible or enabled for the effective GenEmails roles used by the tenant: APP_GEM_AGENT, APP_GEM_SUPERVISOR, and APP_GEM_ADMIN.
| Area | Purpose |
|---|---|
| User-visible features | Turn specific UI capabilities on or off for each GenEmails role. |
| Sections | Group features by operational area so administrators can manage the matrix in a structured way. |
| Save template | Persist the current role-to-feature matrix. |
| Restore template or import state | Bring back a known-good access model after testing or accidental changes. |
The structure is intentionally sectional so administrators can reason by workflow: mailbox tabs, mailbox actions, SPAM table actions, admin features, and other application controls. A good operating pattern is to keep Agents narrow, Supervisors operationally broad, and Admins fully enabled.
